The entirety of the armor of God was put on us in Christ at salvation.  It may take us some time for the Holy Spirit to renew the mind to the fullness of that truth.  From the moment we were born again by the incorruptible Seed, we have Christ birthed in us in totality by that Seed (I Pet. 1:23).  Christ is our eternal life (I John 5:11-12).  We have a new nature in Christ (II Pet. 1:4). We have the Spirit of Christ in us (Rom. 8:9).  We have the Person of Christ to live in us as us, or the Christ-life (Gal. 2:20).  Our natural clothes are held up and together with a belt around our waist.  In true spirit-functioning life, our waist is girt around with truth. Christ is truth at the very center and circumference of all that we stand for (John 14:6). John said, "For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ"  (John 1:17).  Christ is now the source and life of truth in us.

The Holy Spirit – the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13), takes the Word of Truth and quickens when we believe to receive Christ – the Person of truth.  For John declares that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).  We often quote that verse of scripture.  In context, that is a profound and deep statement of truth!  In the fullness of that contact. Jesus was declaring that, I ever am the way to the Father. I ever am the truth of the Father.  I ever am the life of the Father.  Truly, truly, no one ever comes to the Father except through Christ.  Christ is the source of true revelation of the Father to us (Matt. 11:27).  Christ is our link and establishes our fellowship with the Father (I John 1:3).

Christ is the Person of truth who now lives the Christ-life in us as us. We now have everything that we need in the "grace and truth" in Jesus Christ (John 1:17). Then, why would we ever attempt to live in any fashion less than in the fullness of truth?  We need to let Christ be truth in us in every area.  We need to stand in the fullness of Christ.  Christ needs to be the center and focus of every area of life.  We need to function in the Christ-life where Christ lives through us to express the will of the Father with His love-for-others Spirit.  Christ is our life.  Christ is our nature and character.  Christ is our source of love and strength.  The more the Holy Spirit renews the mind, the more the fullness of Christ becomes and fills us as all in all (Eph. 1:23).  This is our foundation stand that we have in Christ.  We need to walk and live according to the revelation of the mystery of the Christ-life in us as us.  We have a shared-life in Christ. We must begin our foundation and stand in Him and in Him alone. The enemy can attack us, especially if we live in and by the flesh.  The enemy cannot attack Christ.  Christ already defeated the enemy at the cross with His 100% finished work of grace and truth.  We should start, stop, and stand by Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  Only 100% Christ being truth is verity!
