HOLY AND BLAMELESS IN CHRIST

"And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and irreproachable in His sight " (Col. 1:21-22).

Thank God for our Lord Jesus Christ!  Paul tells us that we once were alienated from our Heavenly Father in our minds.  Why?  Our minds were filled with selfishness, rooted and sourced out of a Satanic self-for-self nature received and passed on to us through being born out of the lineage of Adam.  Our Heavenly Father wanted sons in a personal relationship to have a loving fellowship with us.  Our Father so loved the world that He sent His Son  to save and redeem us from all judgment and condemnation (John 3:16-17). Sometimes we let others condemn us, or we condemn ourselves, not knowing who we now are in Christ Jesus since our Spirit birthing (Rom. 8:1).  That doesn't mean that we can't sin on this side of salvation with the Spirit birthing.  However, we should cooperate with His new nature and only let Him live and express Himself through us with His self-for-others Spirit of love.

How did this wonderful grace take place?  God came in flesh through our Lord Jesus Christ and was virgin born by Mary.  Jesus Christ had His Father's seed and nature.  Jesus Christ did NOT receive the Satanic sin nature passed on by Adam.  Jesus was all  God, while simultaneously all man.  Jesus made all the decisions as a man and "was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin" (Hebr. 4:15).  If Jesus would have ever sinned once, He could have not been our eternal spotless sacrifice.  Our Father made Jesus the sin bearer or carrier of sin, by placing all sin upon His sacrificial body on the cross. "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (II Cor. 5:21).  When the sinless body of Christ was put to death, and His precious blood was offered, our Father was 100% justified in raising Him from the dead.  Friends, our Father is justified in raising both Jesus and us from the dead, if we will just simply believe on Christ.  We need to believe that every one of our sins and that Adamic nature was carried to the cross on Jesus Christ and put to death there.

How then do we receive this free gift of grace?  By simply believing on our Father who raised up our Lord Jesus from the dead (Rom 4:24).  We believe that our Father is satisfied with Christ's eternal sacrifice.  We believe that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us.  We believe that our Heavenly Father has fully reconciled us to Himself.   His holiness has removed the judgment of all our sins.  His blamelessness has overcome our faults.  His irreproachableness has covered all our failures.  With the Spirit rebirthing, Our Heavenly Father now sees us as holy and blameless in Christ!  V
