THE ETERNAL SEED

"having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever" (I Pet. 1:23).

When we were Spirit birthed by the Holy Spirit, the incorruptible seed of the Word of God was planted in us.  In that eternal seed, everything was given us of Christ.  The eternal seed contained the divine nature of Christ (II Pet. 2:4).  The eternal seed contained the fullness of the Son in Person and Spirit.  The eternal seed has the fullness of the life and expression of the Son in it.

Also, that seed is an eternal, incorruptible seed.  Adam listened to Satan's lying temporal seed in the beginning and received it, along with sin, disfellowship with God, and ultimately death.  Adam also begin to operate in the natural out of the knowledge of good and evil.  This temporal sin seed of disobedience passed from Satan through Adam ant onto all men until Jesus Christ came (Rom. 5:12).  Jesus Christ put this original sin to death on the cross, so that we might receive His grace, righteousness, and eternal life (Rom 5:15-21).  Jesus Christ paid for 100% on the cross for everything required for our eternal salvation.  The only thing that remained was our Spirit birthing, in order for us to receive the free gift of eternal salvation through the eternal seed (John 1:12-13). Everything for a mighty oak tree is contained in that oak acorn, its seed of life.  Everything for Christ to be fully expressed in and through us is contained in that seed.  We were Spirit birthed  when we believed in our heart the Lord Jesus and confessed Him with our mouth (Rom. 10:9-10).

Our heart, our emotions, and our mind are the three (3) main parts of our soul.  When we were born again we received in the eternal seed – the eternal mind of Christ (I Cor. 2:16).  The Expanded Greek Text verb states that, "we ever have the mind of Christ" (I Cor. 2:16).  We have received an eternal salvation, with an eternal Person, who has an eternal mind.  The eternal mind of Christ is received within His eternal seed.  Even though we received everything in Spirit of Christ at our Spirit birthing, there is still a lot of growth, especially in the mind area.  An acorn takes a lot of growth to produce a mighty oak tree. The Holy Spirit must water and transform the old mind to allow for expansion of the eternal mind of Christ  within us.  Christ can only be fully expressed in and through us as us, in accordance to the growth of the eternal mind of Christ within us.  What marvelous grace of our Father, to place everything that we need, in the eternal seed of His Son in us!
