CHRIST-DAILY
ESTABLISHED BY PAUL'S GOSPEL "Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began. . ." (Rom 16:25). Some have desired and attempted to have today's church be formed or modeled after the first century church. However, the first century church is an incomplete and an improper model. The first century church had to fully transition out of law and into 100% grace. The first century church had to transition out of just a Jewish focused church into a church for the whole known world. There was a law-based gospel being mixed with truth, being preached to the church during this period. About two (2) years after the resurrection, ascension, and the beginning of the Church at Pentecost, Jesus Christ personally called and commissioned the apostle Paul to the mission of bringing His divine correction to the Church with the true gospel. Paul marveled that the Galatians to not turn from "the grace of Christ, to a different gospel" (Gal. 1:6). Paul warned that some wanted "to pervert the gospel of Christ" (Gal. 1:7). Paul issued one of his harshest declarations, when he stated twice in a row, that if "anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed" (Gal. 1:8,9). Paul declared, that he is not pleasing men, but a servant of Christ (Gal. 1:10). Paul clearly made known and certified, that the gospel which he preached was not according to man (Gal. 1:11). Paul said, "For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ" (Gal. 1:12). Paul's gospel was revealed by the Holy Spirit, and centered and focused on Christ and Him Crucified (I Cor. 2:2). Paul knew that this was the only true gospel, that would lead men to stand in the wisdom and power of God (I Cor. 2:5). Paul clearly declared to us, that the Father is able to establish us according to his gospel, and his preaching of Jesus Christ and Him crucified (Rom. 16:25; I Cor. 2:2). This only true gospel is according to the revelation of the mystery, which is Christ in you the hope of glory (Col. 1:27). God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:4). This wisdom was not revealed to prophets or anyone in other dispensation or age, prior to the apostle Paul to fulfill the eternal plan of God (I Cor. 2:6-8). However, now this revelation truth is being revealed by the Holy Spirit, and is to be made known by the church (Eph. 3:5-11). The church will only be established by Paul's gospel!
