CHRIST-DAILY
SPIRIT BAPTISM INTO CHRIST "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ" (Gal. 3:27). Paul said, "For by one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body – whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free – and have all been made to drink into one Spirit" (I Cor. 12:13). The Holy Spirit the baptizer, has Spiritually baptized us into one body – the body of Christ (I Cor. 12:27). We have all been made to drink into one Spirit – the Spirit of Christ (Rom. 8:9). This speaks of our Spirit birthing. The Holy Spirit gives us the word of Christ and faith comes (Rom. 10:17). We believe and appropriate that faith given to us by the Spirit and we are Spirit birthed. We are born again by that incorruptible Seed or word of Christ (I Pet. 1:23). In that eternal Seed or word of Christ, we Spiritually received the Person, Spirit, nature, and life of Christ in total. That's why Paul could say, as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Paul clearly declares, that with the birthing that we have put on Christ. The Spirit birthing is what seals us for all eternity with our Father through Christ. At the Spirit birthing we received everything from Christ in the Spirit. The Spirit is completely saved and is complete. We are progressively being saved in the soul/mind day by day. One of these days, either a split second past death, or at the rapture if we still remain alive on this earth, we will receive a glorified body. Paul said, that with the birthing that we have put on Christ. It is a done deal. We already have put on the whole armor of God in Christ. We have everything we need to function and operate in this life and the life to come, with the Spirit baptism into Christ! This is why Jesus assuredly told Nicodemus, that "unless one is born again, he cannot even see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Jesus said, "unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God" (John 3:5). Then Jesus graciously explained that to Nicodemus. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again" (John 3:6-7). Born of water speaks of our initial fleshly birthing into this temporal earth. The second birthing is a Spirit birthing, born again, or the Spirit baptism into Christ. Jesus said that you can't even see the things of God or even enter into them until you are born again (John 3:3,5). Let me assure you that Satan hates the birthing. The Spirit birthing separates you from his deceptions, so that you can finally see and know the things of God. The Spirit birthing seals your eternal destiny to forever be in the Body of Christ with a relationship and love fellowship possible with our Heavenly Father. Like the symbol of water baptism, the Spirit baptism into Christ washes out our unrighteous ties with Satan, sin, and Adam; and washes us into Christ's righteousness for family ties with our Heavenly Father to have love and fellowship in the Spirit!
