CHRIST
NEVER
FAILS
"Love suffers long and is kind;
love does not envy;
love does not parade itself, is not puffed
up;. . .bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all
things. Love
never fails" (I
Cor. 13:4,7,8a).
John declares that, "God is
love" (I John 4:8).
"Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God" (I John 4:7b).
Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father (John 1:14b). Our
Father so loved us that He sent "His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John
3:16). Our Father so loved us, that He sent His Son of love to us.
His Son became flesh as Jesus of Nazareth and he was full of the grace and
truth of the Father (John 1:14). The Son came to reveal and be the
living love of the Father. The Son, as Jesus of Nazareth, first came
to speak the words of the Father (John 14:10). Jesus came to also let
the Father in Him do marvelous works on behalf of many (John 14:10). Jesus
was the express image of the Father in love, grace and truth (Hebr. 1:3;John
1:14). Jesus told His disciples if they saw and knew Him, that they
really saw and knew the Father (John 14:7). Jesus is the way to the
Father. Jesus is the truth of the Father. Jesus is the life of the
Father (John 14:6). Jesus is certainly the love of the Father.
Jesus said, "greater love has no
one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends" (John
15:13). Jesus demonstrated that great love,
as He completed His mission as Jesus of Nazareth, by going to the cross for
all of us.
When we talked about Jesus
Christ, we have been talking about the greatest love man has ever
known. Jesus speaks of all the
atoning work for us on the cross performed by Jesus of Nazareth. That
work is 100% finished and complete. We were saved by, and stand today
on that finished work. Christ
speaks of the resurrected Lord of glory, who now lives His resurrection life
in and through us, since our Spirit
birthing.
Christ now lives in us
to fulfill everything concerning concerning the love of the Father in us. We
can take that verse and substitute Christ
every where the word love
appears. Christ suffers long and
is kind.
Christ
does not envy. Christ does
not parade Himself or is puffed up.
Christ
rejoices in the truth. Christ
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Christ never
fails!
Name any circumstance or situation in life that you might
face. Pick out any problem or bridge that you might have to cross. You
may not have all the answers, but Christ
is your answer!
Christ is now living on
the inside of every Spirit
birthed child of God. We need to make
choices and decisions to let Christ
live in
us as us.
Christ needs a
Holy Spirit transformed and
fully renewed mind
to live and express Himself in us as us.
Christ can
through us do
all
things in us
as us.
Christ never
fails! V
